An Easy Way to Burn More Body Fat

Posted by burningfoods on March 8, 2010

This article will help you learn to alter the way your body burns fat. Specifically, it will help you adjust the temperature at which your body normally burns fat.

You have a normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Fat doesn’t usually burn at your normal body temperature. It burns at a much higher temperature.

So what is this tip and how does it work? The tip is to take the dietary supplement lecithin, which is a natural fat-based substance commonly added to foods.

Lecithin is available in capsule form at most pharmacies or health food stores. I suggest using 1200 mg per day. You don’t have to take it all at once, as long as you reach that total for the day.

I won’t go into a lot of technical details, but here is the gist of why lecithin will help you to lose fat. Lecithin helps to program your body to burn fat at your normal body temperature.

Also, don’t worry about the tiny number of calories in the lecithin capsules. The fat-burning effect will more than make up for it.

This way, your body doesn’t have to be at a higher temperature to burn fat. So when you take lecithin, you are automatically burning fat while you do nothing in particular. So you will be burning fat all day regardless of what else you do.

If you think about it, one way people raise their body temperatures is by doing cardio. And that is why cardio exercise is somewhat effective in burning fat… because your body needs to be at a higher temperature to burn fat.

So if you want to help jumpstart losing fat, try taking lecithin.

A List of Fat Burning Foods - 7 Foods That Burn Fat Fast

Posted by burningfoods on March 6, 2010

At lot of people interested in weight loss wonder if there is a list of fat burning foods that will burn fat faster than other foods normally would. And the answer to that question is: Absolutely!

So, what exactly makes a fat burning food burn fat? The trick lies in calories. Your body must expend a certain amount of calories in order to survive. So, if there are foods that are filling, nutritional, and offer a low amount of calories, they would certainly be prime candidates for fat burning foods.

And in fact, some foods actually require that your body expend more calories just to digest them than they return back to your body! However, be sure sure not to go overboard, because you are still going to need healthy fats and complete proteins in order to look and feel healthy and happy.

So, here is a list of 7 fat burning foods (this list is by no means complete):

1) Carrots

If you eat a carrot at the beginning of every meal, you are sure to lose weight. Carrots are pretty filling vegetables, and will leave your stomach with no room for dessert. Cutting out desserts from every meal should be enough to help you lose at least a pound a week.

2) Mangoes

Mangoes are low in calories and high in fiber.

3) Oranges

Oranges have been shown to have unique fat burning properties, as well as healthy doses of Vitamin C.

4) Garlic

Garlic contains allicin, a powerful anti-fungal and anti-bacterial compound that helps reduce unhealthy fats and cholesterol. It helps to fight arteriosclerosis and has the ability to dissolve fats.

5) Apples

Apples contain large amounts of pectin, a soluble fiber which is always helpful in weight loss. A very promising study conducted in Brazil showed a very high correlation with apples and weight loss. When apples were given only to one group before each meal, out of two groups, that were eating the same amount of calories, the apple eating group lost an astounding 33% more weight!

6) Tomatoes

Tomatoes work very well by preventing your risk of cancer and reducing high blood pressure, as well as being high in fiber and helping you to burn fat and lose weight.

7) Spinach

Spinach is very rich in iron and has been shown to prevent cancer. It also fulfills the other properties of well-known fat burning foods, filling, nutritional, and low in calories. Popeye knew what he was doing!

Calorie Shifting to Burn Fat

Posted by burningfoods on February 28, 2010

One of the most effective venues for weight loss is calorie shifting to burn fat.

Indulge in eating as much food as you want at each one of four daily meals that consist of a variety of foods from all four food groups, and you can expect to lose about 9 pounds every 11 days. That’s nearly one pound of weight loss per day!

Calorie shifting is unique among the modern-day weight loss programs in that you are not required to count or keep track of your caloric intake or the number of grams of carbohydrates you consume. You are free to eat as much as you want at each meal until you reach the point of complete satisfaction, although you are strongly urged to stop eating just before you reach the point of becoming too full.

So how on earth can you lose that much weight so rapidly by eating as much food as you want? The answer is simple:

It is not the quantity of food that you eat that matters. It is the quality. Which one is more conducive to weight loss: One thousand calories from French fries? Or one thousand calories from a fruit salad? Obviously it is the fruit salad. Even though both contain the same number of calories, you have to look at the caloric content of what you are eating.

Now, couple this fact with the science of calorie shifting¸ and you will have found the perfect formula for rapid weight loss. Calorie shifting is the act of shifting the types of calories that you consume, from meal to meal, from day to day, on a rotational basis. By shifting your calories in this manner, you simulate a nutritional deficit in your body that triggers your body’s metabolism to begin tapping into your body’s fat reserves for energy thus burning fat.

Can you really lose 9 pounds every 11 days on the Calorie Shifting diet?

Burn Fat the Natural Way - with Food and Exercise

Posted by burningfoods on February 23, 2010

Today you are probably a little skeptical about the

subject of fat loss ( weight loss ) because of the

thousands of diet books already out there - and

the reason I use the term fat loss, is this is what

you want to lose.

Fat loss and weight loss are different, losing weight

does not mean you are losing fat, you could be losing

muscle and still have alot of unhealthy fat.

Fat takes up more space, muscle is more dense

and takes up alot less space and this is why you

should be more concerned with fat loss than just

weight loss.

Most people tried all the so called fad diets and

some work, but never work long term, because

diets are not the answer.

A good eating plan and exercise program is what’s

needed short term and long term for life long results.

Eat foods that are natural, lean meats, egg whites,

nuts, seeds, alot of vegetables / salads, fruits and

drink as much water as possible.

Limit your starches ( potatoes, legumes, breads )

I said limit, you don’t have to cut them out just take

it easy.

Do what you can too cut out the sodas, coffee, donuts

(junk food) they just add to your fat gain and have no

value at all.

If you eat this way there is no way you can keep the

fat on and if you add a 10 to 15 minute workout every

day the fat will melt off like butter.

A good way too try this is to eat as good as you can

for five days and cheat on the weekends, just don’t

over do it.

Weight Loss Secrets Revealed - How to Lose 5 Pounds in 3 Days

Posted by burningfoods on February 18, 2010

So you’ve bought that fabulous gown for your anniversary, which is 3 days away and you’ve realized that somehow you’ve put on some extra weight and the gown feels a tad tight in all the wrong places. Don’t despair. If you are wondering how to lose 5 pounds in 3 days; here are three incredibly easy ways that will help you look fit and fabulous for D-Day.

1. For the next three days eat very small meals several times a day - To lose 5 pounds in 3 days your diet must be low in calories. For the next 3 days only, restrict your daily calorie intake to 200 calories, making sure you get the bulk of those calories from fruits and vegetables. Keep in mind that to stay healthy, you should never go below 1,000 calories a day for an extended amount of time. Three days and no more.

2. Drink a gallon of water every day for the next 3 days - Drink water from the moment you get up until the time you go to bed. Drink like a fish. In fact, pretend you are a fish and just gulp it down- one 16 ounce glass of water 8 to 10 times a day. Besides flushing out toxins, water also fills you up and curbs those hunger pangs.

3. Get yourself off the couch and get moving - Working out aerobically at least twice every day for one hour at a time is sure to help you lose 5 pounds in 3 days. Do intervals during every workout. By speeding up for a small length of time, then dropping your speed back to “brisk” until you have recovered repeatedly, you make your body burn more calories in an effort to keep up.

Keep in mind that even if you know how to lose 5 pounds in 3 days, it is still rapid weight loss. While this is ok in the short term, you must consult with your doctor if you intend going on a very-low calorie diet for an extended period of time.

Burn The Fat - How Diets and Eating Plans Can Help You

Posted by burningfoods on February 12, 2010

The word diet has been given negative connotations over the years, as people would go days without eating anything except for the occasional salad, claiming they were on a diet. The truth of the matter is however, that a diet is simply a pre-planned eating habit. And if you plan ahead to eat the right foods in the right quantities, you just might be on your way to diet success.

If you’re tired of the fad diets and serious about weight loss there are plenty of legitimate diets and eating plans that can lead you to success. Some of the more popular programs are the Weight watchers, Jenny Craig, and Slim fast plans. These diets have been around for some time and have numerous testimonies to their success. The only downside would be the cost of the food which is more expensive than the alternatives.

If you’d like to go it alone, which should save you some money, there are some basic rules to keep in mind. First, watch out for simple carbohydrate foods which are known to raise insulin which ends up stored as fat. These aren’t just the cakes, cookies, and donuts that we find so hard to resist, but foods like bread and pasta as well. While you don’t want to give up on these foods altogether, it’s possible to offset the rise in insulin that they cause by eating complex carbohydrate foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains which keep insulin levels low.

Another way to aid your diet is to be careful with fat-free foods. This one catches a lot of dieters off-guard as they believe they can eat as much of them as they want. Unfortunately, many times these foods may be low fat, but high in calories as they replace the fat with sugar. Again, fruits and vegetables are naturally low in fat.

A great rule for weight loss diets is more daily meals, but smaller portions. It is the norm in our culture today to eat until we get full every meal of the day. This really wreaks havoc on our weight loss program, especially when we’re eating the wrong foods. The importance of eating only until we feel content cannot be overstressed, especially when super sizing a meal can cost just a little bit more. These excess calories are just going to be stored as fat.

Asking the advice of your physician is also a great place to start. Your doctor can provide you with handouts that will be a great guide to improving your diet and losing weight. What makes this a wise decision is that your physician can tailor your diet plan to meet your specific needs.

Watch for hidden fats by carefully reading the nutrition label of every product you buy. Simple everyday foods like milk, meat, and even salad dressings contain fat. Cut down your intake of these high fat foods, by examining the calorie count which is in direct relation to the fat content.

Burn Fat With TriSlim

Posted by burningfoods on February 12, 2010

There has been an onslaught of various diet plans and programs that will leave you overwhelmed. There are just too many things to choose from that you’re afraid to lose out by not trying all of them. This is not a smart move because it not only makes you waste time and money; it also abuses your body. If you have always wanted to lose the excess fat that are taking shape around the waist area and the thighs, then you need to examine yourself and take note of your eating habits. One of the reasons why people get fat is the food they eat. Fast food and processed food are the main culprits. The more you consume, the more toxins you put in your body. You may not also be controlling your food intake. Sometimes, you tend to eat more than what’s necessary. Snacks are fine but if you overdo it, expect to see the effects the next time you weigh yourself. Lack of exercise makes you sluggish and weak hence contributing to your weight problem. These are the basic reasons why people get fat quickly. Now, if you can find solutions to those problems, then you can very well be on your way to losing that unwanted fat.

There is one program that may be the solution to your problem. It’s called TriSlim diet plan. The plan involves taking the TriSlim diet pill in conjunction with healthy eating habits and exercise. As the name suggests, TriSlim contains three key ingredients that will help you lose weight and have a slim body. What sets TriSlim apart from the rest is that the pill uses the weight-loss properties of three natural ingredients and combines them in one formula. The TriSlim diet plan can help you lose as much as 15 pounds in just 15 days. What seems impossible back in the days can now be a reality. The TriSlim diet plan gives you the solution to your problems of low metabolism, fat intake, and abnormal appetite. In the TriSlim trial, you will learn about the key ingredients of TriSlim: Hoodia Gordonii, Green Tea Extract, and Chitosan.

Hoodia Gordonii is a plant that grows in South Africa. It is used mainly for medicinal purposes including the treatment of indigestion and infection. It also has an appetite-suppressing property which came from the foul smell of its flowers and meat. If you have difficulty fighting your cravings, this ingredient will immediately kill your appetite. Green tea extract is probably one of the most recognized natural ingredients being used in various diet supplements. What it does is to help flush out the toxins in the body. It is a potent antioxidant that helps neutralize the free radicals attack the body. It also boosts your metabolism, which means you can burn more calories each day. Finally, Chitosan is known to be a fat blocker. What it does is it attracts fat and binds to it and then expels it.

The TriSlim trial is probably the best gift you’d give yourself if you want to lose the unwanted fat. Get with the program and start burning the fat!

TriSlim.net provides more information about the TriSlim diet plan and also offers useful TriSlim trial products to help you realize how good this diet really is, visit our web site today!

15 Fat Burning Foods - Burning Fat While Eating For Pleasure

Posted by burningfoods on February 10, 2010

Here are 15 fat burning foods that can help you lose weight and be healthier.

Herbs

Herbs are like the miracle drugs of the plant world. They can grow on a sunny windowsill, in poor soil, with very little care and still bring you substantial health benefits and magnificent flavors.

1. Parsley is good in salads, soups and broths, and freshens breath.

2. My hands always smell of garlic and my guy loves it. He knows good food needs garlic. Garlic is said to lower cholesterol, benefit arthritis and may fight cancer.

3. Chives are great with everything, dill was made for salmon, and basil is so Italian.

Vegetables

4. Cauliflower and broccoli are great served raw, having a much milder and sweeter flavor than the cooked versions. They are especially good in big salads with mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots and some baked fish or chicken with the above salad dressing.

5. Green onions or scallions are two of the best foods for adding flavor to dishes without calories is green onion. We particularly like to use them and parsley to freshen and enhance the flavor of clear chicken broth and soups when we are ready to serve. A generous sprinkle of these taste boosters and a few drops of rice vinegar will make you very happy and healthy, too. Skip the bread and crackers.

6. Spinach has lots of good iron and other benefits that only become available to your body when enhanced with some citrus or vinegar. We love to serve it in salads with oranges, chives or chopped sweet onion, toasted pine nuts or almonds with a little honey mustard dressing. It’s also good to add a large handful of spinach and chopped green onions to clear chicken soups at the time you serve.

7. Beets - This root vegetable is loaded with vitamins and natural sugar and the greens are literally a nutrient bonanza in salads. The color of the beet itself is very beautiful and can enhance many dishes.

8. Turnips - We love turnips mashed like potatoes. 1 c only has 36 calories, about ¼ of the same amount of potatoes. They are wonderful with roasted pork tenderloin with a sweet onion mustard sauce made like salad dressing (above) with the enhancement of the onions.

9. Radishes are one of those vegetables that arrive early in spring when you want them most. ½ c of radishes has only 10 calories. Eat them with a little bit of salt instead of popcorn or chips. You’ll taste a lot of good flavor and get some good nutrients, too.

Fruits

10. Melons just need to be cut before they land on the plate. My Mom always craved them when she was pregnant. They are full of good nutrients and help you stay hydrated. We always teased her she was going to have a big old green watermelon instead of another baby. She had 5, babies that is, not watermelons.

11. Black berries (75 cal. Per cup) and raspberries (64 cal. Per cup) - These berries are both healthy and tasty. We prefer them raw right from the bushes that grow near our house. 1 c has loads of nutrition.

12. Strawberries - I was once stuck for hours due to foggy weather at O’hare airport in Chicago waiting for family. I had no hope that I would get anything good to eat in an airport but I was in for a pleasant surprise. Illinois grows some of the best strawberries in the world in the spring. They were serving fresh strawberries with heavy cream (not sugared or whipped) right from the bar where people were ordering mixed drinks. I ate 2 servings with hot tea and never worried about the saturated fat in the cream or what time it was.

13. Plums are one of the many things that grew around one of my childhood homes. My cousins and I would find them ripe and eat until we couldn’t eat any more and then bring some home for granny and the aunts to make into jam. Now we only eat them raw. They are great.

14. Oranges, limes and lemons - We use all these in cooking. Salads like chopped spinach only get better with a bit of fresh orange. Limes are good with fish. Lemons enhance so many dishes. Try to eat the whole fruit, not just the juice.

Nuts

15. Nuts are good in many dishes and bring flavor and nutrients. A few walnuts at bedtime will help you sleep better.

There are a lot more wonderful fat burning foods out there than the ones on this list. Try to eat as much fruit and raw or lightly steamed vegetables as possible and burn fat with pleasurable eating!

Burn That Fat - Weight Loss Diets That Won’t Starve You

Posted by burningfoods on February 7, 2010

If you want to burn that excess fat, weight loss diets that cut your calorie intake to the bone aren’t the best way to do it.

Many diets require extreme calorie reduction, to 1,500, 1,200 or fewer calories. They leave you hungry all the time, living on a diet of salad and crackers that just isn’t enough to get you through your day. They also slow down your metabolism, the furnace that burns calories in your body.

So why is cutting calories so popular to lose fat? Weight loss diets that employ fat burning methods are more effective. They also give you more energy, making you sharper and more focused, because they convert that fat on your body into energy you can use as you go about your day. Fat burning methods leave you feeling better, while calorie reduction makes you hungry.

The best way to lose fat is to employ strategies which will stimulate your metabolism. Change your eating schedule and portion sizes. Eat the correct foods in the morning to stimulate your metabolism, and eat lighter foods at night so your body doesn’t convert too many calories to fat while you’re sleeping. Techniques like these are known as calorie shifting, and there’s an entire diet built around them.

The FatLoss4Idiots diet is a simple way to use calorie shifting and make your metabolism as strong as it can be. With a healthy metabolism, you feel alert, alive, and active at all times of day-and the fat practically melts off of your body at amazing rates. Many FatLoss4Idiots users have reported losing up to 9 pounds during the diet’s 11 day meal cycle. Take action now and change your diet-take the first step by reading this FatLoss4Idiots review and start creating the body you’ve been wanting.
